Economic oppression is the most harmful weapon used against humanity. Sadly, in our world money is used as a way to hurt people more than a way to help people.

We’re trying to turn that around. Previous to the recent US election, the world‘s richest man started handing out money to people to try to support a candidate that he could buy access to the government through.

He has a chip on his shoulder against trans people because his child is trans and he can’t accept that because of his own fragile masculinity and internalized self-hatred over the fact that he was married to a They/Them person who left him. He tried giving me $100 to buy my vote, and I gave his money to a young trans person in his daughter’s name.

A lot of folks are resistant to the space because it is so saturated with personalities that they wouldn’t want to be associated with. By doing that, they are missing opportunities to make gains that the other side is capitalizing on. This is all about building the same tools and developing the same power, and using it to better purposes than just watching a number go up.
